PREsell is the idea of generating an
open and receptive mind set in your
potential customers and visitors. It is
using your words, site design, layout,
and reputation to convince your visitor
to buy. PREsell is not a concept that
can be implemented today and give you an
immediate return tomorrow. Worse yet, if
you have not already used the PREsell
concept in your site design and
marketing efforts, then you may have
already caused your reputation damage.
That damage will take longer to fix to
show a return on the PREsell concept.
The PREsell concept is powerful when combined with honesty and consistency. PREsell is only powerful in combination with honesty and consistency when that honesty and consistency is created from a real passion. Time will reveal a false PREsell concept. False PREsell concepts are those that are implemented with lies and half-truths. Real color always shines through in the end, and thus is the case with any PREsell concept you implement. Honesty and consistency above all, and the rest will fall into place. If you can?t deliver it, then don?t promise it. If you charge for it, then tell them so up front.
By genuinely caring about others, you will implement great PREsell concepts. They will be more natural and much more believable than trying to fake them. Fake caring will always come out. Fake caring will trip you up because the inconsistent actions will give you away. People are not stupid. We can usually tell when someone actually considers our best interest when trying to help us. We have touched another life, and hopefully helped in some small way to make it better.
These are the true powers of the PREsell concept. And once implemented effectively, they are a great power to leverage your site traffic and sales. Be consistent, commit to only offering the best and reputable products and services, and be honest in your marketing practices. People will eventually come to know you, respect you, and thank you for your efforts. Their thanks will not only come in emails and testimonials, but also in the clicks they provide for your programs.
